Dear Galos, we are currently going through extremely important stages of transition. Depending on our moral capacity to fend off the religious intruders, we can either lose or keep our inheritance throughout this period of transition. In the mid-19th century, missionaries had preyed on some of our brothers & sisters in Arunachal Pradesh and the Northeast, by taking advantage of our ancestors' poverty and lack of education. The offspring of them are now acting like the missionaries' machines, which is problematic for us. Getting proselyte members to actively participate in clan-based organizations and converting indigenous people are two additional methods that missionaries use to convert people. I hope that you would not allow your feet taken away by such a policy.
However, Galo is fortunate enough—in my opinion—to have at least 70-80% of its people adhere to our traditions, culture, and faith. For the sake of our shared enjoyment and tranquility, I expect you to continue on this path and collectively oppose conversion culture at all levels.
